What is InnoPran XL
It is a tablet with a hypotensive effect, which decreases heart rate, myocardial contractility and myocardial oxygen demand. The active substance also helps to reduce bleeding in the postoperative period and during childbirth by increasing uterine contraction. It increases bronchial tone and lowers intraocular pressure.
Indications
InnoPran XL is indicated for: angina pectoris, myocardial ischaemia, arterial hypertension, arrhythmia, thyrotoxicosis, essential tremor, migraine, tachycardia.
Dosage and Administration
The tablets should be taken orally, independently of meals. In hypertension, 40 mg twice daily; if necessary, the dose is gradually increased over 2-4 weeks to 80-160 mg. The maximum daily dose is 240 mg.
In angina pectoris, essential tremor, migraine – 2-3 times a day, 20 mg; the dose can be gradually increased (1 week) up to 40 mg (4 times a day) or 80 mg (divided into 2-3 doses). Maximum daily dose is 480 mg.
In cases of arrhythmia, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, thyrotoxicosis, 10-40 mg 3-4 times daily. The maximum daily dose is 240 mg.
Contraindications
Do not use the medicine in case of hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, bradycardia, cardiogenic shock, metabolic acidosis, bronchial asthma, bronchospasm, hypotension, insulin therapy, pregnancy and lactation, infancy.

Weakness, headache, dizziness, paraesthesia, numbness or coldness of extremities, rash, pruritus, heart failure, muscle weakness, abdominal pain.
