What is Reglan

Reglan is the trade name of the active substance metoclopramide, which belongs to a group of medicines called prokinetics. This medicine is used to treat certain gastrointestinal conditions such as reflux disease and functional dyspepsia. The drug works by increasing the contraction of stomach and intestinal muscles, improving digestion and speeding up the passage of food through the gastrointestinal tract.
