What is Roxithromycin

Dosage and administration

Adults and children over 40 kg: 300 mg per day, divided into two doses, 150 mg every 12 hours. For streptococcal throat infections, urethritis, cervicitis and cervicovaginitis, the duration of treatment is at least 10 days. In chlamydial infections, treatment can be prolonged up to two weeks.

Contraindications

Allergy to any of the ingredients of the preparation and to macrolide antibiotics, during pregnancy and lactation, in children under 40 kg.
