Indications

Treatment of brucellosis, chlamydia and urethritis: 500 mg tetracycline in combination with streptomycin, 4 times daily. Treatment lasts three weeks.

Uncomplicated gonorrhoea: 500 mg every 6 hours, treatment duration 1 week.
Treatment of acne: initial dose is 1 g divided daily; when the condition improves, the dose is reduced to 125-500 mg daily.

Contraindications

Do not take Sumycin if you are allergic to preparations of the tetracycline group.
